It’s been a wonderful birthday week for me! I was able to work a little bit less, enjoy the company of friends and family, and get some necessary chores done to prepare for the move down to Philadelphia (only 14 days to go!). There were so many things – both new and used – to admire this week that I had trouble choosing between them, but I think this list will condense some of the blessings I live amongst.
This beautiful handmade black walnut cutting board gifted to me from a friend for my birthday, with fresh farmer’s market flowers from my favorite flower stand, the Painted Tulip.
A curious kitten sniffing a beautiful arrangement.
Another lovely handmade item in Vermont – a Red House VT purse – given as a birthday gift from my sister.
I feel so lucky to have so many physical reminders of Vermont and the talented people that live here. Jeremy Ayers gave Sawyer and I four handcrafted bowls for our departure to Philadelphia.
One of Sawyer’s birthday gifts to me was this gorgeous handmade and hand-riveted backpack from the California-based company, Bradley Mountain.
